Multiple people were shot Tuesday in a Carrollton shopping center that is home to several Korean businesses.

Carrollton police posted on social media just before noon about the “active scene” around the 1500 block of W. Hebron Parkway near State Highway 121. It isn’t clear how many people were shot, but the Dallas Morning News reported one dead.

One video on X showed several officers carrying guns and walking past Leo’s Brunch House, a restaurant in the shopping center.

The suspect is in custody, police said.

Police will hold a press conference at 1 p.m.
