A man killed his wife and son in Flower Mound this week before killing himself, according to police. 

Police were called to the 10700 block of Sunrise Circle near Argyle High School on Wednesday morning after family members were unable to reach anyone at the home. Two residents had not shown up for work, police said. 

Three adults were found dead inside. 

They have been identified as 65-year-old Carlos Shelton, 63-year-old Elida Shelton, and 27-year-old Brian Shelton. 

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office has identified their manner of death as suicide for Carlos Shelton, homicide for Elida Shelton, and homicide for Brian Shelton. 

Police believe Carlos Shelton killed his wife and son before killing himself, according to a media release.

There are no additional suspects.
